This large brewery building in Antigua is where the famous Caribbean Wadadli Beer is brewed. It was completed just in time for hurricane Louis and Marilyn, as it was right on the east coast it was assumed that the wind would strike it from the east.
When the devastating hurricanes Marilyn and Louis hit they went round Antigua from the north and came back from the west, severely damaging almost every structure on the island, except for the 30 or so REIDsteel buildings, which all escaped virtually intact. The only damage caused was one piece of ridge capping at the very high end of the Antigua Brewery monoslope ridge.
It is a typical brewery building with its public viewing areas etc.
